1/25  Great meeting today crew!  Remember to continue to update the wiki.  I think our "marketing campaign" is a great idea!

11/30 Check out our newspaper webpage for featured stories! https://sites.google.com/a/d123.org/mustangnews/

11/2  Edit your story.  Do you have a catchy headline?  Does your first paragraph explain the story?  Does the last paragraph introduce some interesting quotes?

10/28  Continue to craft your stories.  Here's a helpful link we will use next week to talk about story structure.   http://www.timeforkids.com/search/site/reading%20news%20story

10/21   Now that our questions are finished and interviews complete, let's begin to craft those stories.  Find your page to continue to work on your story.  Remember to login!

10/13   Remember to finish those interview questions so that we can begin to interview our sources.  Having trouble logging in?  Here is the procedure...

  1. Remember to click the 'log in' button at top-right side of the screen.
  2. Find the story your working on in the folders to the right.
  3. Click the 'edit' tab at the top of the page.
  • Avoid using Firefox.  We've had difficulty saving our work in this browser.

9/28  Today was the first great meeting! Remember to begin writing questions for your story assignments.  We will go over these questions at the next meeting.  Don't have a story assignment?  Please email Mrs. Ferrell or Mrs. Rayson.

9/8    Welcome Mustang News staff!  This is our space in cyberspace reserved to edit and view stories.  We can check deadlines and organize our editions.

Remember to place your stories on the page we have set up for you...not this page, the front page.  The front page is reserved for notes and writing tips. Also... finding your story page is easy!  Click on 'pages and files' on the tab at the top, and make sure you are in the 1st issue folder.  Click on your story topic, then click edit at the top to begin typing.  Last, remember to SAVE!

Check out the "Be a Reporter" gameYou do have to register, so please ask a parent or caregiver's permission before you begin.

Any questions? Email Mrs. Ferrell, or Mrs. Rayson leave us a note here...any changes made to this site get emailed to us :)

Bella, she did agree to meet with you tomorrow morning. So, please come to the regular club meeting at 7:30, and we'll send you upstairs to meet with her at about 8:00.
